Description

EPI's National Certificate in Strength & Conditioning (NCSC) course is based on evidence based practice of 20+ years experience working with athletes from all levels. Established in 2012, the NCSC course has been educating coaches, trainers and healthcare practitioners from around the world and has become the industry standard course for those looking to become a qualified Strength & Conditioning coach.

Our goal is to give coaches the underpinning knowledge and practical coaching skills to help improve sports performance. Learn how to develop the various physical qualities to enhance their athleticism following an evidence based approach. Using EPI's 8-step-approach training system, you will learn how to apply a roadmap to your Strength & Conditioning coaching.

The NCSC course contains more than 16 hours of video content with 24 modules and 13 detailed presentations. Each presentation emphasizes a theoretical framework, a program design framework, with best practices around coaching. There is also additional reading material contained in your electronic manuals to support your lecture content. Each practical session is filmed from a coach’s perspective and emphasizes key coaching points, demonstration skills, cueing, progressions and regressions.

The NCSC course has been designed to optimize your learning experience and application for all key topics in Strength & Conditioning. All course videos have been chaptered with great detail to allow for easy navigation. Once the modules within the curriculum have been completed, the NCSC certification exam will be made available for completion. The NCSC exam contains both a MCQ exam and a practical exam involving video submission. Two opportunities to pass the exam with a passing grade being based on an 70% or better are included in your purchase.

Upon successful completion of the exam you will be an EPI-NCSC Coach. We look forward to having you become a certified Strength and Conditioning Coach and join the EPI team.
