EPI Online Education FAQs

1. How to register for an EPI online education course? 

All participants can register for an EPI online education course through our online education portal: https://epicertification.inspire360.com  

2. How do I use my discount code? 

Discount codes are used when checking out, you'll be able to insert your code here. This will apply the discount to the total price before you’re required to purchase. 

3. How do I receive a confirmation of purchase and receipt? 

You will be sent a confirmation of purchase and receipt of payment once you have registered for a course. This will be sent to the email you provided when registering for the course. If you have any further enquires, please email info@epicertification.com.

4. What devices are supported to access my course? 

Courses can be viewed on desktop and/or laptop computers, tablets, and smartphones. All courses are compatible with iOS and Android devices and all Windows and Mac based operating systems. 

5. Do I receive continuous education units after completing my course? 

Both Phase 1 & 2 Courses which form part of the National Certificate in Strength & Conditioning (NCSC) certification carry CEUs with ACE and NASM. Prior to purchasing a course, you can view hoy many CEU's are available for that course. 

6. Is there an exam after Phase 1 or Phase 2 Courses? 

No, there is no exam required to be taken for either Phase 1 or Phase 2 Courses. We do provide you with a sample MCQ exam for both Phases. These sample MCQ papers are intended to prepare you for your NCSC Certification Exam. 

 

7. Is there an exam after my National Certificate in Strength & Conditioning (NCSC) Course?

Yes, in order to become NCSC certified you will be required to pass both a written MCQ exam and a practical exam. Once successful, you can use the letters "NCSC" beside your name which shows you are an EPI certified Strength & Conditioning Coach. 

8. What is the pass grade for each exam? 

In order to successfully pass, you are required to attain 70% or more for both written and practical exams. 

9. What happens if I fail an exam? 

You will be given two opportunities to pass each exam. If you are unsuccessful in passing an exam on two separate occasions, please email EPI for further information: info@epicertification.com

10. How long is the written MCQ exam? 

The written MCQ exam is 60 minutes in duration. You are required to answer 80 questions during that period. You can’t restart an exam once you’ve started, so make sure you have enough time to complete all questions. 

11. What is required in the practical exam? 

You are required to demonstrate and coach an Olympic lift eg Clean or Snatch. You will also be assessed on your understanding of EPI's technical and coaching models as seen on the NCSC Course. 

12. If I am unsuccessful in either my written or practical exam, will I receive feedback on which sections I answered incorrectly? 

No, you will not receive any feedback on where you answered incorrectly. You will only receive your final grade. 

13. How long do I have to access the course? 

You will have a 24 month period to access your online content. After this period, you will no longer be eligible to access the course content. 

14. When do I have to take the exam? 

Once registered for EPI's NCSC Course, you will have a 24 month period to complete your certification exam. Failure to take the exam in this period will mean you cannot become NCSC certified. 

15. Is course content downloadable? 

Yes, all course content and lecture slides in pdf format are downloadable.
